Imagine your notes for each slide of your presentation being on this web page.

Your notes are in the palm of your hand - you only need to glance down to see them.

They are in large font, so are easily legible. This is possible because only the notes for the current slide need to be on the screen.

Performing the "flip" gesture brings up your notes for the next slide.

With some AJAX embedded into the page it's also possible to send a signal to the machine running PowerPoint/Impress which triggers the next slide to be displayed on the big screen behind you.

Your mobile device is not only the private screen for your notes but it's your remote clicker too.
